What is the Priority Partner Program?
The HealthPOINT Priority Partner Program is designed for practices that have not yet implemented an EHR. It’s a self-managed program that enables rural and independent practices to get started on the path to Meaningful Use using your own people at your own pace. The program provides three essential online software toolkits that help you assess and automate your steps;
SpectraMD Practice Assessment Program
Practice data is collected and entered into an online questionnaire that automatically generates a standardized Practice Assessment Report with recommendations for Meaningful Use and EHR implementation.
The online software Includes:
- Flowcharts and recommendations illustrating current and suggested operational workflow from check-in through billing
- Projected ARRA Incentives, ORI and opportunities for increased revenues
- Remediation recommendations
SpectraMD Meaningful Use Meter
Enables healthcare organizations to measure, manage, track and report Meaningful Use Compliance and clinical quality measure (CQM) criteria at the individual, practice organization and population levels. It also helps individual providers automate the process of demonstrating and reporting Meaningful Use attestation.
Features include:
- All Stage 1 Meaningful Use criteria are implemented into the application
- Consolidated compliance status data across multiple providers and practices
- Auto-populated dashboards with built-in interfaces to EHRs and HIE's
US Healthcare Compliance HIPAA Privacy and Security Compliance Resource Toolkit
An easy to use online software program that has taken over 180 compliance criteria and distilled them into an organized, simple 10-step approach that is practical and easy to implement. Completion of the 10 steps meets Core Measurement #15.
The online toolkit includes:
- Templates for all necessary HIPAA Compliance Privacy and Security forms
- Detailed HIPAA Policies and Procedures Manual
- Online Technical Support
HealthPOINT Priority Program Practice Support
You are not alone! HealthPOINT delivers additional support services to help you and your staff manage your project. We assist in helping you develop the project plan and coordinating your stakeholders. As you begin the project you are invited to attend HealthPOINT Webinars, HealthPOINT Workshops, and have access to the HealthPOINT Online Portal.
How much does this cost?
Nothing. The program was developed by HealthPOINT - a non-profit, federally-designated Regional Extension Center that is a part of Dakota State University. HealthPOINT exists to provide guidance and support to South Dakota healthcare professionals and organizations to help them implement EHR. The Priority Program is designed to get all healthcare professionals on the path to using EHR with the least amount of impact to their day to day activities.
